Learning Paths: defining your audience’s training journey

There are many instances where a personalized learning path makes all the difference for your audience learning experience and for your training goals. Regardless of the reason behind this, with bugle, you can easily manage your audience’s training journey.

When you create a learning path for your audience, you are defining a specific order of courses and training content that your audience members must follow.

This type of training strategy has many useful applications, namely for onboarding as you may want to introduce your audience to specific topics in a specific order, for product training as you can have different levels of usage and expertise, for partners training as you may want to introduce different parts of a process in a specific order, and so on.

Here are 3 common examples:

Customer onboarding: you can start with a welcome course about your brand and mission to help your new customer feel part of your team, then take your customers to product training and then offer skills training so they can leverage your product with better results.

Sales reps onboarding: start with welcoming them with a message from the CEO and the VP of Sales, show the organization structure and internal processes. After that, they can be introduced to product training and pricing models, how to use the company’s CRM, and some starter sales skills training that will help them deal from the start with the most common objections identified by the team.

Partners training: you may want your factory workers to first take the safety and compliance courses before introducing them to the production process or how the machines work.

 

Once your audience has completed the courses in its intended order, the course will remain available so that your students can re-take the courses, go back to specific topics and refresh knowledge.

Even when you have defined learning paths for specific purposes and audience segments, you can still have courses freely available to the audience that are not part of that learner’s pre-defined learning path.
